Mary loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him in many ways, giving of her time, talent and treasure to the Lord's work. Mary is a member of Lafayette Community Church in Lafayette, Oregon. Mary loved to listen to Charles Stanley preach and the Gaithers sing hymns.
Mary and Kent Adams were married on September 13, 1937 in Granger, WA. They were owners of Kent and Mary's Barber Shop in McMinnville and also owned and operated a hardware store for several years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, knitting and cooking.
Mary is survived by her husband Kent of Lafayette, OR; a daughter Mary Powell of Olympia, WA; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
There will be a short graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM with a celebration of Mary's life at a later date at Lafayette Community Church.
