GEORGE MAYCOCK
VERONA- George Maycock for may years a well known and respected resident of Verona, died of paresis at the home of his son, Charles Maycock, of New York on Friday, and his remains were brought here for burial Sunday. The funeral took place this afternoon at the residence of George Maycock, son of the deceased. Mr. Maycock was nearly 70 years old, He was born in England and came to this country with his wife and one son in 1850. He resided in Verona until 19 years ago, when he went to live in New York city. He lost his first wife in 1870 and in 1876 he married Mrs. Polly Pratt of Verona. He leaves three children, George Maycock and Mrs. George Wilson of this place and Charles Maycock of New York City.

VERONA STATION The funeral of George Maycock, for many years a well known and respected resident of Verona, who died last week at the home of his son Charles Maycock, in New York, occurred in Verona yesterday afternoon. The deceased was born in England 69 years ago but came to this country with his wife and one son in 1850. He resided in Verona until 19 years ago, when he removed to New York City. His first wife died in 1870, and in 1876, he married Mrs. Polly Pratt of Verona. He leaves three children, George Maycock, and Mrs. George Wilson of Verona and Charles Maycock of New York. The interment was in the Verona Cemetery.
