Lyman Joseph Harris, age 83, died February 23, 1993 at his home.

Born November 19, 1909 in Sheridan, Wyoming, son of Joseph Doyle and Blanch Verco Harris. Married Maxine Stones, 1929, in Coalville, Utah. Resident of Price since 1931. Retired employee of Long Atrdox Co. Member of Coal Country Squares, an avid square dancer, Lyman and Maxine enjoyed square dancing at the Spring and Fall festival at Salt Lake City and various other cities in Utah. Lyman loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Survived by wife, Maxine Harris, Price; daughter-in-law, Myrna Harris, Salt Lake City; three grandsons, BJ and Sharlene Harris; Chuck and Cheryl Harris, all Salt Lake City; Troy Harris, Dallas, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Tera, Heather, AJ; stepmother, Mary Harris, California; brother, Bill Harris, Nebraska; sister, Aliene Snow, California; half brothers, Jim Harris, Alaska; Vincent and John Harris, California; half sisters, Patricia Harris, Mary Etta Ward, Bernadetta, all of California. Preceded in death by parents, daughter, Audrey, son, Alma.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 1993, 12 noon, Mitchell Chapel, where friends may call daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Family will be at Mitchell's, Thursday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to service.
