FRED MOTT

Fred Mott, 57, of Mt. Morris, former Mount Morris resident died in Dansville Hospital Friday. He was injured when the car in which he was riding last week Tuesday left the highway on the Groveland Scottsburg road.

Deceased was born in Leicester, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Mott and had resided in Mount Morris most of his life. For 25 years he was employed as a farm hand by the late Richard W. White.

Surviving are three sons, Fred Jr., of Avon, William of Geneseo and Harold of Rochester; four daughters, Mrs. Jas. Gleason, Jr., of Palmyra, Mrs. Fred Holland and Mrs. Chas. Swarts of Dansville and Mrs. Leslie Barrett of Castile; two brothers, Charles of Conesus and John of Mt. Morris and a sister.

Funeral services were held from the J. W. Martin & Sons Funeral parlors, Sunday afternoon and burial was in Dutch Street Cemetery. Rev. Steward Day, pastor of the Tuscarora Presbyterian Church, officiated.
