Cornelia 'Mona' Rubbe, 77, Hollidaysburg, died Weds., Dec. 29, 2010 at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Clearfield to Charles & Genevieve (Mitchell) Sorbera. She married James J. Rubbe on May 15, 1954, in Clearfield. Survived by husband; sons: Michael Rubbe, of Duncansville and David Rubbe, of Altoona; daughter, Ann Rubbe, of New York City; brother, Phillip Sorbera, of Baltimore and sister, Madaline Sorbera, of Hollidaysburg. Mona was a graduate of Clearfield High School and Altoona Beauty School. She retired as the owner and operator of Rubbe's Beauty Salon in Hollidaysburg after more than 50 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and loved to play bridge. Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
