Jaunita met Harold in Highland Park, Wayne Co. Michigan where lots of southern families moved for work . The depression hit these families hard so they had to leave their homes only to later return to the south and family they left behind.

Jaunita was a giving and loving person, she passed many family treasures on. She gave to us a pendant once owned by her Great, great grandmother Elizabeth (Eliza)"Bates" McKinley and the childhood bed of Mary "McKinley Brindley her great grandmother and a quilt made by her great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Brindley who was a solider & tailor in the Mexican war. We have since passed the quilt along.

Jaunita had a sister named Eunice Burton Nance

Thank you in advance for your kind visit and flowers for this kind lady.
