Castelli, Ethel Mae, 81, loving wife of Sammy who predeceased her, and mother and grandmother, passed away on May 24th. She is survived by her three children, Linda Ruth, Gene Castelli and Marianne Murphy; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, MaryAlice Midstokke and Helen Nichols, and brother Don Prouty. She was also an Auntie and Gramma to many young children for whom she cared and nurtured. She loved doing Genealogy, taught it, and served as a resource to many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Viewing and rosary to be at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, Gullerton on Wednesday May 28th from 4:00 to 8:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm, funeral mass on Thursday, May 29, 10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and interment at Sunset Memorial Park in Apple Valley on Friday, May 30, at 11:00am. (Taken from Orange County Times).

Ethel Mae was my mother's sister and one of the most caring loving people I have ever known. Aunt Ethel never had a harsh word to say about anyone. She loved everyone as if they were her family. I will always remember her & her husband Uncle Sam as loving family. Aunt Ethel always remained the Farm girl from Kansas & proud of it. I miss her phone calls & emails.
