As a young man, Pete worked for his father in the broomcorn fields and in his later years, he worked for his son as a trim carpenter. Pete loved to read, fish and drink beer. He loved telling old Bradley stories about friends and family. He never knew a stranger and was never without words. He loved all of his grandbabies. They were his whole world.
Pete is survived by his wife, Dorthy Beverly, four sons; Aaron Dale Beverly and wife Sharla, Chad Beverly and wife Clara, Deanie Beverly and wife Flo and Ricky Beverly and wife Miranda, two daughters, Jerrie Irene Painter and Sherrie Lynn Farrell, one brother, Don Beverly, one sister, Anita Campbell and fifteen grandchildren; Patrick Beverly, Cody Beverly, Dustin Beverly, Cory Beverly, Desirae Beverly, Ricky Beverly, Jr., Mathew Beverly, DaKota Chaplin, Jackie Myers, Hunter Beverly, Kaden Beverly, David Lance, Courtney Keevert, Dylan Painter and Dylane Painter. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Jordan Beverly and Siddalee Hanke.
Mr. Beverly was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, George Allen Beverly, Pete's twin Geter Beverly and one granddaughter, Amber Nicole Beverly.
Funeral services for Mr. Beverly are set for ten o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 at Bradley Baptist Church in Bradley, Oklahoma with Bro. Richard Hines officiating.
