Permila Coolidge, cousin of Calvin Coolidge married Ernest Hiram Dygert. They had eight children, Clyde, Alma, Harold, Edwin, Albert, Alice, Lester James (Bill) and Ernest. The family homesteaded north of Hardin, Montana at Toluca in 1913. They later moved to a ranch eleven miles northwest of Red Lodge toward Luther, Montana.
