Alfred Morton, 68, inmate of the Wisconsin State prison, died Tuesday morning in the prison hospital. Morton, a negro, who had been sentenced to the prison from Milwaukee in 1928, had been released on parole some time ago, but had voluntarily returned to the prison when he became ill.
Morton was buried in the cemetery at prison farm on Wednesday. The Rev. E. T. DeSelms officiated at the services.
