Sister Mary Charlotte entered religion 2 Feb 1897. She was a nun in the Order of St. Francis for 70 years. She began teaching in 1898; first grades in schools in the Greater Cincinnati area. She taught at Sacred Heart School in Camp Washington, Cincinnati, from 1948 to 1961. She was a teacher at St. Ann in Hamilton, St. Aloysius in Covington and St. Pius and St. Vincent DePaul in Cincinnati. Sister Mary Charlotte retired to the Mother House in 1962.
