Son of Jacob and Rachel (Myers) Wishard.

OBITUARY :
JOHN WISHARD, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Washington township, died Friday morning at four o'clock at the home of his son David, near Zullinger. He was stricken with paralysis of the throat a week previous to his death.

Fo many years Mr. Wishard was engaged in farming and had many friends.

Four years ago his hip was broken and he was never afterward able to walk.

He was a member of the Lutheran church.

He was aged 86 years.

These children survive him: David Wishard and Mrs. John Conley, near Zullinger, and Dr. Samuel Wishard, Hagerstown, Mrs. David C. Potter, deceased, was a daughter. Mrs. Wishard died suddenly in a field on their farm several years ago.

Funeral Monday. Services at 9 o'clock at the house, conducted by Revs. C. H. Rockey and F. F. Bahner. Interment in Green Hill cemetery.
