Son of Benjamin Abrams and Martha Jane Hendrickson. He married Gertrude Hawkins in 1872. Father of Benjamin Franklin, Ralph Squires, Venie Bell, Evie and Aury Charles.

Obituary - "Charles H. Abrams, a lifelong resident of Blue Point, died at 4 o'clock Tuesday morning in his Blue Point avenue home. The deceased was 69 years old. He was the sond of the late Benjamin Abrams and Mary Hendrickson of Valley Stream, and is survived by his widow, Gertrude E., two sons, Frank and Ralph, and one daughter, Mrs. Vennie Bier, of Patchogue. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the Blue Point Baptist Church, Rev. A.M. Quigley officiating. Interment followed in Blue Point Cemetery."
