Obituary - Mrs. Mary Amanda Bishop, wife of Capt. Fred Bishop, died at her home in Blue Point on Tuesday evening at the age of 79 years. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bishop is survived by one son, Benjamin Bishop of Patchogue, and three daughters, Mrs. C.E. Heddink of Brooklyn, Mrs. John Springhorn of Blue Point, and Mrs. Lewis Baker of Patchogue. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock this afternoon from her late home, the Rev. Dr. John Freeman, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating and interment will be in the Blue Point Cemetery.

The funeral is being held today at her home on Blue Point Avenue, with interment in Blue Point Cemetery, the Rev. Freeman Mills of the Blue Point Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Bishop was born in Rockville Centre but had lived practically all her life in Blue Point. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Mrs. C.E. Heddink of Brooklyn, Mrs. John Springhorn of Blue Point and Mrs. Louis A. Baker of Patchogue, one son, Benjamin Bishop of Patchogue, fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
