Dorothea owned the little neighborhood store across the street from the house where I grew up, and am now living today, although the little store is now a vacant lot. She sold me lots of nickel Hershey bars (big ones) when we got our 'nickel day' every Wednesday. Her daughter Dorothea and grandchildren lived up the street from us and we treasure those memories. She was a precious lady and the first person I ever knew that used bluing on her beautiful white hair! My mother was a skilled seamstress and made Betty's wedding dress when she married Mr. Tindall! - e-mail from Eidth
