--Mrs. Ersie Leona Ewing, 69, of Bunker Hill, died at 1:30 a. m. Sunday at Dukes hospital after an illness of several months.
--She was born at Miami, Ind., on May 6, 1893, the daughter of John and Laura (Barnett) Armstrong. Her marriage on August 14, 1900, was to John C. Ewing, who passed away in 1931.
--She is survived by three sons, Luther E., Kokomo. Walter C., at home, and Bernard C., Greenfield, Ind.; three brothers, Archie, Logansport, Joseph, Chicago, and Paul, Summerfield, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Lenora Trader, Fairmount, Ind.
--The body has been taken to the Eikenberry funeral home. It will be taken to the late residence where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
--The body will be taken to the Bunker Hill Methodist church at 2 p.m. Wednesday to lie in state for one hour before the servicses there. Rev. Glen Campton will officiate at the funeral rites and burial will be in Chittick cemetery.
