Elsie M Strid, 83, of Redmond, former Arlington resident, died Sept. 28, 1987 in Everett.
She was born Aug. 17, 1904 in Rice Lake, Barron Co., Wisconsin and came to the Arlington area in 1944. She moved to Redmond nine years ago.
She leaves a daughter , Beverly Johnson of Marysville; three sons, Melvin Strid of Juneau, Alaska, Elroy Strid of McCleary and Charles Strid of Arlington; three brothers, Euclid LaBrie, Lester LaBrie and Willie LaBrie, all of Redmond; three sisters, Grace Rutledge of Springfield, Oregon, Leah Cleven of Redmond and Edna Turner of Snohomish; 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Graveside services were Thursday in the Arlington Cemetery, with the Reverend Michael Angelovic officiating. Arrangements were under direction of the Weller Funeral Home, Arlington.

Wife of Harry Strid. Mother of Melvin Donane, Elroy Harry, Charles "Chuck" Ray, Beverly Anne and step-daughter Jean.
