Born Agnes M. Drivick in Brooklyn, she moved to Queens during the 1960s and settled in New Dorp in the 1980s.
Mrs. Nelson worked for the former Chemical Bank, now Chase, for twenty-seven years, retiring in 1970.
She enjoyed traveling and watching her favorite baseball team, the New York Mets.
Mrs. Nelson was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, New Dorp.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1980.
Surviving are her two daughters, Fran Belulovich and Theresa Ellman; her sister, Lillian Walling; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from the Hanley Funeral Home, New Dorp, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island.
