Amanda V., 87, of Nicoma Park, passed away Sept. 29, 1985, at Four Seasons Nursing Center. She was born July 4, 1898 in Danville IA, came to Okla. in 1907 and moved to Nicoma Park from Watonga. She had been the Post Mistress at Nicoma Park for 27 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Nicoma Park. Survived by daughters, Laura Lee Nelson of OKC, Verletta Kesler of Nicoma Park; sisters, Freda Williamson and Martha Batton, both of Choctaw OK, Alvina Gathers of OKC, and Lydia Liston of Cushing OK; 2 grandsons, Bob and Gary and a great-granddaughter, Lisa.
