DEATH FOLLOWS A FOUR DAYS ILLNESS. Mrs. William Schingen Expires at Family Residence in Lamartine.
Mrs. Josephine Schingen, wife of William Schingen of the town of Lamartine, died at 5 o'clock Friday evening at the family residence after a four day's illness of pneumonia. The deceased was born Sept. 21, 1886 in the town of Friendship and was married to Mr. Schingen Oct. 31, 1905. There are five children, Hazel, aged 6, Virginia aged 3, Gerald 12, Richard 4, and Clarence, aged 1. The deceased is also survived by the following sisters, Mrs. William Whitmore, North Fond du Lac; Mrs. George Langlois, North Fond du Lac; Mrs. Richard Carboneau, city; Mrs. John McMurray, Chicago Heights; Miss Zoa Moquin, North Fond du Lac and Mrs. Walter Jewson, North Fond du Lac. She also leaves the following brothers George Moquin, of Phillips; Fred, of Everett, Wash.; Noah, of Superior; Ernest and John, of this city and Andrew, of North Fond du Lac. Unless word from relatives living at a distance should cause a change in plans the funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Woodhull Catholic church followed by burial at the adjoining cemetery.

SCHINGEN – The funeral of Mrs. William Schingen who died last week of pneumonia at her home in Lamartine was held at 10 o'clock this morning at St. John's Church, Woodhull, Rev. Fr. Corbenian, O.M. Cap., officiating. The bearers were William Earling, Frank Earling, George Sizer, Ernest Langlois, Fred Britenfeld, and Henry Quinlan. Those attending the funeral from away were George Moquin and daughter, Gladys, Phillips, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. John McMurry, Chicago Heights; Mrs. Frank Bauer, Milwaukee, and Noah Moquin, Superior. Burial was at the adjoining cemetery.
