Elizabeth Frances (Maybank) Bowers was the daughter of George E. and Clara Belle Maybank. She was the wife of Charles Jerome Bowers and the beloved mother of Dorothy Geraldine (Bowers) Eckert. Elizabeth died of typhoid fever. Her death certificate was signed by Dr. James G. Flynn.

Another baby daughter--The Stork visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowers of Ridgway, Saturday September 23rd and left a bright baby daughter. Mother and child are both reported as getting along nicely. Mrs. Bowers was formerly Miss Elizabeth Maybank of this city. Mr. George E. Maybank is the proud grandfather.
