Eagle Grove Boy Dies as Result of Accident

Eagle Grove was the scene of another terrible auto accident. Saturday, Ed Keena, a young man of about 16, was struck by a Great Western passenger train at 1 p. m., on South Commercial avenue, within the city limits. He was alone in a Ford racer which was demolished, the driver having one arm broken in two places, one leg cut off and suffering internal injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he died about 7 p. m., the same day.
