In Peoria, Ill., June 21st, 1876, Thos. H. Green, in the 70th year of his age. He was a former resident of Adams Centre, N. Y., where he was long a member of the Seventh-day Baptist church. He had for some years been longing to return to the home of his youth and the brethren of his choice, and this spring had completed arrangements for moving back, to spend the remainder of his life at Adams Centre. But he was suddenly stricken down on the street with apoplexy or sun-stroke, still he was able to converse freely with his friends the few subsequent days that he lived. He died trusting in Christ.
At his request, his remains were brought to Adams Centre, where funeral services were held Sabbath morning, June 24th. A. B. P.
