Gabriel Alvarado Jr., 49, of Sublette, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born Nov. 18, 1961, in Lamar, Colo., to Gabriel and Simona Cruz Alvarado. He graduated from Sublette High School.
A longtime resident of the Sublette area, Mr. Alvarado worked for T & L Irrigation in Ulysses as an electric technician for many years.
Survivors include his mother, of Sublette; a brother, Jose Luis Alvarado of Kansas City, Kan.; and two sisters, Tonie Roper of Kansas City, Mo., and Teresa Bolivar of Leoti. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral was at Sinai Pentecostal Holiness Church, Sublette. Burial was at Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette.
