Mrs. Filomena Fannie Battistone, 70, or 218 Beallsville Road, Bentleyville, died at her home today at 1 a.m. She had been confined to her home for some time because of illness.
Born in Italy on Sept. 26, 1895, she had spent most of her life in the Bentleyville area.
Mrs. Battistone was a member of St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church at Ellsworth.
Surviving are her husband, Nick; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Gibson and Mrs. Mary Zumpetti, and a son, Arthur, all of Bentleyville; four grand-children and one great-grandchild.
Friends will be received at the late home after 7 pm today.
