Edna Mae Mills, 75, of Dunlow, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at her home.
She was born February 28, 1935, a daughter of the late Allen and Brooke Stroud.
Her first husband, Henry Perry also preceded her in death along with one son, Matthew Perry, one brother, Wayne Stroud, and one sister, Lora King.
Edna Mae worked many years in Ohio and in Huntington, W.Va., before retiring. She was a wonderful homemaker and a friend to all. Her beautiful quilts will always be treasured and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She was a devoted and faithful member of the Church of God.
Edna Mae is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Boyd Mills of Dunlow, one daughter, Marlene Staley of Dodge City, Kansas, a special son-in-law, Eddie Ramey and his family, seven grandchildren, Megan Perry Cyrus, Leanna Perry, Michael Shawn Perry, Henry Ramey, Anthony Ramey, Tosha Mae Ramey, and T.J. Ramey, also surviving are five loving sisters, Genevieve Wallace of West Palm Beach, Fla., Marie Dillon of Cookeville, Tenn., Olive Sutherland of Yale, Mich., Evie Smith and husband Bob of Somerset, Ky., and Elizabeth Marcum and husband, Bill of South Point, Ohio, two loving brothers, James Stroud and wife Betty of Frankfort, Ohio, and Orville Stroud and wife Hazel of Grayson, Ky., numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends Penny Queen and Irene Jarrells.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the McClellan-Crum Cemetery, Dunlow, WV.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
