Lena Mae Wolfe, 80 of Springdale died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born January 24, 1930 at Locust Grove, Oklahoma to Robert Earl and Sarah Jewel Hill Youngman.
Lena Mae was a Secretary for Allen Canning and Kawneer. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church where she was active in church activities. She enjoyed playing dominos.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Franklin Wolfe to whom she married in 1951 and one son, David Loyd Wolfe.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Loyd Wolfe and wife Susan of Salem, Arkansas and Rodney Earl Wolfe and wife Sarah Harrison of Fayetteville; one daughter, Reta Mae Pearson and husband Charles of Port Aransas, Texas; one brother Loyd Wayne Youngman and wife Janice of Ozark, Arkansas; three sisters, Oweta Caviness of Lakeview, Arkansas, Betty Julian of Springdale and Sarah Hawkins of Springdale; eight grandchildren, Matthew and Rachel Pearson, Christopher and Matthew Villines, Kayla Wolfe, Brian, Stephanie and Robert Sanderson; two great grandchildren, Keagan Sanderson and Aidan Villines and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Springdale with Rev. Don Elmore officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5 to 7pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
