Abner Parks, a native of Lawrence county, died Friday morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. James Cameron, 1716 Hamilton street, where he had been making his home for some time.
He was 81 years of age, and had spent nearly all his life in the county and city. Mr. Parks was a member of the Central Christian church.
Surviving him are four children, Mrs. Serilla Whiting of Edenburg, and Mrs. James Cameron, at whose home he died; Henry and Thomas Parks, both of this city. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Reno, of Purdy, Mo., and three brothers, Sylvester, Nev., Whiting Parks, of this city, and Wallace Parks of Shenango township.
The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Cameron residence, and interment will be made in Savannah cemetery.
