Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Lavenia Riley, 53, are to be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Grant Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Riley died this morning at 5:20 at her home, 614 3rd Avenue SW, following a long illness.
Body is to be returned to the residence this afternoon and will remain there until Tuesday at 1 p.m. Body is to lie in state at the church from 1 until time for the service to be conducted by Jimmy Falkner and Irven Lee.
Mrs. Riley is survived by her husband, Elymas G. Riley; one daughter, Mrs. Alva Little, Paducah, Ky; two sons, Charles E. and Chalmers G. Riley, both of Decatur; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ona McAnally, Decatur; and one brother, Asa Smith, Somerville.
Interment in Oakview Memorial Cemetery is to be directed by Brown Funeral Co.
Pallbearers are to be John Taylor, Wilson Taylor, Ben Campbell, L.E. Powell, Calvin Blizzard, and E.E. Anderson.
