OLEAN – Services for Catherine Franzluebbers, 75, Dodge, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here. The Rev. Dan Wittrock will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday with rosaries at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and a 6 p.m. wake at the church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Humlicek Funeral Home of Dodge is in charge of the arrangements.

She died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point following an illness.

The daughter of Lorenz Jr. and Elizabeth (Oesselke) Ruskamp was born Feb. 27, 1926, at Dodge. She attended Sacred Heart School at Olean.

She married Herman Franzluebbers on June 5, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Olean. The couple farmed northwest of Dodge.

Mrs. Franzluebbers was a member of the Mother Sodality at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Olean.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters and their husbands, Karen and Jim Hunke of Plymouth, Minn., Linda and Jerrry Thomsen of Omaha, Marilyn and Glenn Moberg of Papillion, Doris and Randy Ortmeier of Dodge and Diane and Mike Cech of Fremont; four sons and their wives, Daniel, Allan and Bonnie, all of West Point, Duane and Bonnie of Staplehurst and Glen and his fiancée, Kelly of Fremont; one brother, Norbert Ruskamp of Dodge; one sister, Elaine Blankenau of Dodge; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one brother and one infant sister.
