Orville Andrew Smith, the son of Edgar and Cleory (Mitchell) Smith, was born in Clearwater, Minnesota where he lived his entire life. He married Edna Mattie Miller on March 13, 1901 in Stearns County, MN. They lived on the Smith Homestead. Together they had four children. Philip, Grace, Orville Stanley, and Donald E. Orville passed away on Friday morning, July 26, 1935 from pneumonia. He was a highly respected member of the community.
