She was born on May 17, 1918 in Muscoda, the daughter of Ruldoph and Mary Schamberger.
Mildred enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She also enjoyed quilting, and volunteering.
Mildred is survived by her four sons, Lawrence (Cheryl) Heffner of Muscoda, Allan (Diana) Heffner of Richland Center, Daniel Heffner of Muscoda, and James Heffner of Muscoda.
Mildred is further survived by six grandchildren, Carol, Janet, Levi, Shelly, Andrea, Jamie and Amanda.
Mildred is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and her brother Junior (RoseMary) Schamburger of Muscoda, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Mary Schamberger, her husband Leo, and her sisters Florence Groh and Alice Meyer.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Muscoda, with Father Peter Auer officiating.
Burial will follow in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Godager - Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.
