Alice Hunter, 84, a former resident of Jamestown, died Sunday at a Modesto hospital.
Mrs. Hunter was born in Sacramento and had lived in Jamestown for 13 years before moving to Manteca, where she lived for the past four years.
She was a secretary for Pittsburg Des Moines Steel Company in Santa Clara for 25 years.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by three sons, Terence Hunter of Sacramento, Timothy Hunter of Manteca and Todd Hunter of Campbell; a brother, Charles Calhoun of Sacramento; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hunter, in 1989.
