Slim Jim was my buddy. He was bought at the auction barn to be a feeder calf. I named him Slim Jim because not only was it a funny name for a cow, but it would also tick off the neighbor who's name was Jim.
I bottle fed him and played with him. Even after he was full grown I still played with him.
One night we had to call the vet to come out and check on him. He wasn't eatting and barely moving. Sadly he didn't make it through the night.
