George Duerr, 69, well known farmer of the Good Hope School District east of Gerald, died April 6, 1952, at the St. Francis Hospital in Washington. He had been in failing health for the past several months and was taken to the hospital for treatment several weeks ago.
Mr. Duerr, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Duerr, was born in January, 1883. On April 20, 1911, he married Cora Heidbrader who preceded him in death in 1940.
Surviving are one son, Wilbert Duerr of St. Louis; three grandchildren, sisters, brothers and other relatives as well as many friends.
Funeral services were held at the Leslie M.E. Church with burial in the church cemetery.
