Survived by wife, LENORE; daughters, THERESA (RICHARD) PUBANZ, ARLENE (ROBERT) SANDEL both of Grand Haven, NANCY EMAUS of Tujunga, CA; sons, EDWARD (MARCIA) ESCH of Grand Haven, ROGER (WENDY) ESCH of Middleville and LT. PAUL ESCH of Bonita, CA; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters, ROBERTA (JERRY) CENTILLA of Portage, JUANITA (STUB) SCHINDLER of Seattle, WA; brothers, JAMES (WILMA) of Irons, MI, DR. LOUIS (MARIANNE) ESCH of Scotia, NY; foster brother, REV. FR. JOSEPH PETTIT of Pewamo, MI.

Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Spring Lake. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday. Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Memorials to Hospice of North Ottawa Community, 1500 S. DeSpelder, Grand Haven, MI 49417.
