Catherine Birli Frantz, 92, of Charlotte, NC, died on Monday, February 17, 2003 at Lawyers Glen Retirement Living Center.
Mrs Frantz was born on January 31, 1911 in Lebanon, PA, a daughter of the late George Birli and Johanna Rolla Birli. She was a former member of St Theresa Catholic Church in Mooresville, NC. Her hobbies included portrait painting, gardening and German cooking.
Mrs Frantz is survived by her two sons, Tony Frantz and his wife, Carol, of Fairfax, VA, and Ed Frantz and his wife, Mary Ann, of Charlotte, NC; her daughter, Ann Frantz, of Cornelius, NC; her brother, John Birli, and his wife Mary of Little Rock, AR; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Lawyers Glen Retirement Living Center for the love and affection shown to their mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, February 21, 2003 at St Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte, NC by The Reverend Mark Lamprich, Celebrant. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
