More Nan Mills Nan Garrison Mills, 105, of Pleasant Hill formerly of Runnells went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2011. Funeral Services will be 10 am Wednesday, February 2, 2010 at Runnells Christian Church with interment at Lowman Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 pm Tuesday at the church. She was born on May 9, 1905 in Celt, MO, the daughter of Ferd and Sara (Guthrie) Garrison. Nan grew up in the area and attended school, completing the fourth grade. She married Monty Mills and they moved to Iowa. To this union was born; Delbert, Ferd, Dorothy, Bonnie, Dale, Jerald and Nancy. Nan belonged to the Berean Assembly of God Church and was a faithful follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was prededed in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, her husband Monty, infant son Ferd, her son, Delbert, Her daughter Dorothy (Wendel) Altes and a granddaughter Christine Brown. Nan leaves to mourn her passing, her sons, Dale and Jerald (Janice), Bernadine (Delberts wife), her daughters, Bonnie (Rev. Dwight) Hunnell and Nancy (Vincent) Martinez. There are twenty grand children, twenty eight great grand children, several great great grand children, one great great great grandchild and a host of friends. Memorials may be directed to the family.
