9/11/1918 - Died - Death of Mrs. Geo. Leaf - Mrs. Mary Leaf, wife of George Leaf, died Sunday at the family Home south of town. Her maiden name was Mary Baringer and she was born on a farm north of town April 1847, where she grew to womanhood. Her first husband was Martin Heidecker who died 32 years ago. Deceased has always lived in this vicinity and is spoken of as an honest, exemplary, industrious woman. She is survived by her aged husband, George Leaf, and two sons, George and Sylvester Heidecker, besides several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. A. W. Harrold, were held from the home Monday afternoon, and interment was had in Zion Hill Cemetery.
