Mrs. Frank Stenka was seriously sick last week appendicitis being the cause of the illness. She was getting worse every day and it was necessary to operate. Dr Pedersen with the assistance of a livery man brought the patient to the hospital Monday and Dr performed the operation, and now she is getting along fine.

Mrs J R Stenka died at the Farwell hospital Monday after a long illness during which she battled bravely for life but it was no use. The funeral was held Wednesday. She leaves a husband and three small children. The sincere sympatby of all is extended to the bereaved family.

"On finding these articles, question is raised on the dates on the stone. If she died Monday, and the funeral was Wednesday, and printed on Thursday the 10th, death had to have been 7th, funeral 9th."
