Dock was the husband of Francis Elder. He was the son of Sam Elder of Watkinsville, GA.

Our cousin was murdered for standing up to the Klan, and fighting for fairness in his community. He was ambushed by the local mob, who disagreed with his political views. His death certificate lists the cause of death as a throat laceration and blows to his head, although it was Homicide. (None of the cowards in attendance provided medical care.)

We will never forget our loved one and his true acts of Patriotism. There is no braver man, than one who risks his life for the liberation of others who are under the threat of death each and every day, just for living.
