Marianne Ulla-Britt Anderson, 49, loving wife, mother, daughter and sister passed away, October 9, 1996, in Cottonwood Hospital, due to multiple illnesses caused by diabetes.
Born September 18, 1947 in Stockholm, Sweden, daughter of Ulla and Einar Anderson, Salt Lake City. She emigrated to USA with her parents and two brothers in November 1948, and was sealed to her parents in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, January 13, 1949 and received her own endowment in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, August 11, 1994.
She married Wayne Milo Anderson, June 2, 1973 in Salt Lake City. Marianne was employed after her graduation from Granite High School in 1966, with the LDS Church Temple Index Bureau and later by the Salt Lake Council, Boy Scouts of America, until she received a medical retirement. She loved Scouting and displayed a genuine scouting spirit until the last day of her life. Over 80 Cub Scouts benefited from her services as Den Leader and Cub Master, and many scout leaders from her services and the district round table for many years. She received Philmont and Wood Badge Training 1987-1989.
Marianne loved camping, fishing and all outdoor activity. She was also talented in many forms of handiworks.Survived by her husband, Wayne; son, Kurt; step-children, Stephanie (Chet) Crane; James (Corina) Anderson; seven step-grandchidren; her parents, Einar and Ulla Anderson, Salt Lake City; brothers, sisters, Kjell (Sybil) Anderson, Arizona; Leif (Analee) Anderson, Nev.; Glen (Christine) Anderson, Salt Lake City; Dianne (Jon) Allen, Salt Lake City; Elaine (Guy) Thompson, Salt Lake City; Wayne (Terra) Anderson, Spanish Fork; Irene Anderson, Salt Lake City; mother, father-in-law, Donna and Melvin Anderson, Richfield; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Kathy) Anderson, Calif.; Scott (Judy) Anderson, Richfield; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other relatives in the USA and in Sweden.
