William Watkins, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1953, at the Cook Nursing Home in LaMont. He was a lifelong resident of Brooksgrove and a member of the Methodist Church there. For the past four years he made his home with a son, W. Forrest Watkins of Nunda. In addition to his son he is survived by a brother Albert and a sister Carrie, both of Brooksgrove; four grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were conducted .Monday at 2:30 p. m. from the Duryea Funeral Home, Nunda, with the Rev LeRoy S. Zoraphonithes officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery
