Rose Gola Aldrich, 94, a loving mother, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at a Fort Worth recovery center. Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: St. James Cemetery, Hyde Park, N.Y. Mrs. Aldrich was a native of Passaic, N.J., and lived in Fort Worth 35 years. She worked for Vera Lee, Fort Worth, from 1976 to 1997, where she was a seamstress. She was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church. Her passions were sewing and being around younger people. Her whole being would light up when she could cook and entertain them. She was a loving mother who will be truly missed; it's been a great journey, thank you for sharing. Mrs. Aldrich was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Stanley B. Aldrich Sr.; and daughters, Beverly A. Meadows and Sandra A. Hilton. Survivors: Sons, Stanley B. Aldrich Jr. of Lubbock and Bruce E. Aldrich of Fort Worth.
