Myfanwy Croop, 86, of Plymouth, died Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2011, at her home. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late John and Myfanwy Richards, and graduated from the Kingston Township High School in 1942 and the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing. Myfanwy was a member of the Plymouth Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence Hicks and Leah Klinestein, and brothers, John, Daniel and Edward. She is survived by her husband, Fred, with whom she celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary; sons, Fred and Russell; five grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Alix, Jeff, and Scott; one great-granddaughter, Kolia; and several nieces and nephews. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family from the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.
