Born in Blount County, she was the daughter of Ruby Hathcock Green of Oneonta and the late Pat Barnes. She was a lifelong farmer and a retired inspector for Blue Bell and Wrangler.
Surviving in addition to her mother are sons Johnny ( Tonja) Gladden of Bonaire, Ga., Gerald (Lisa) Gladden of Oneonta, Kenneth (Denise) Gladden of Selma, and Clay (Paulette) Gladden of Sweetwater, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; aunts Louise Colley and Grace Dailey of Oneonta; uncles Alvin and Rayford Hathcock of Michigan, Willie Hathcock of Coal City.
Charles Alldredge officiated services Saturday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m. at Lemley Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeremy Gladden, Jared Gladden, Josh Gladden, Jonathan Gladden, Brandon Wheelock, and Terry Murphree.
