Tribute: Anne Josephine Stroh was born in Victoria, Kan., to Joseph and Margaret (Weber) Meis. She married Richard Stroh on Sept. 25, 1952, in Greeley.

She started school in Kansas and moved to Greeley, where she finished her schooling. Mrs. Stroh helped her husband on the dairy, as well as with custom work and farming. She was a hard worker. She worked as a waitress for 13 years in several restaurants.

Mrs. Stroh died Saturday at the North Colorado Medical Center Hospice and Palliative Care Inpatient Unit.

Survivors: Her husband, Richard; two brothers, John Meis and Jerry Meis, both of Greeley; a sister, Eleanor Darling of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: Her parents and two sisters.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. Interment: Linn Grove Cemetery.

Visitation: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Allnut Funeral Service Macy Chapel.
