Mrs. Drehobl, 73 years old, wife of Joseph Drehobl, residing at 1301 Thirteenth street, died at 2:30 a.m. today at the Dunn Hospital where she was admitted at 3:10 p.m. Sunday following a heart attack suffered at 11 a.m. Sunday at her home. She had been in failing health the past six years.

The remains were removed to the Day-Carter & Roach funeral home for burial preparation and this afternoon will be taken to the residence where they will lie in state until the funeral, arranged for 9 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Morand Widolff officiating. Burial will be made in Green Hill cemetery.

She was a native of Germany and was born to George and Mary Bernhardt Beshel, December 23, [There is a line omitted here]. She was united in marriage in Bedford with Joseph Drehobl on November 16, 1884. Besides the husband, one daughter, Catherine M., survives. She was a loving wife and mother, her interests having ever been centered in her home and family and her passing leaves a vacancy in the home that cannot be filled. Announcement of her passing came as a shock to the entire community she occupied for more than a half century and where she was loved and respected by all who knew her.

Miss Margaret Powers rendered a program of organ music during the service. Pallbearers were Gus Stieglitz, Henry Wachter, Joseph Biegel, Timothy K. Donovan, George Wallner and Hartman Neumeister, Sr. Burial was made in Green Hill cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives in attendance included Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drehobl, sons, George and Robert, Mrs. Grace Fisher, Mrs. Anna Fischel, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. J. Robl, Sr., Mrs. John Robl, Jr., Mrs. Joseph Crane, Frank Robl, Miss Marcella Robl, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee and Miss Charlotte Lee, Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Miss Grace Drehobl, Miss Catherine Drehobl, Indianapolis; Mrs. Joseph Schwab and Mrs. Claude Bartlett, Bloomington.
