Dr. Oscar Dodd, 83, of Huber Lane, Glenview, a retired physician and surgeon who practiced in Chicago for more than 50 years, died yesterday in the nursing home at 2306 Ridge Av., Evanston, Dr. Dodd retired in 1944. he was a staff member at Augustana and at Evanston hospitals and a member of several medical societies.
Surviving are his widow, Agnes; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hartlett and Mrs. Margaret Arnold, and a son, Charles. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, Evanston. Burial will be in Dr. Dodd's birthplace, Rosendale, Wis.
