George Washington Graves (14) was born 23 July 1870, and died 8 Nov. 1950 in OK. He married Almeda ("Media") Ogle on 19 June 1892 in Ozark Co., MO. She was born 18 May 1874, and died 29 Jan. 1957 in OK, daughter of Cannan (or Canaan?) Ogle (b. 13 June 1831 in Carroll Co., VA, d. 29 Jan. 1913 in Baxter Co., AR) and Martha Ann Surratt (b. 3 Dec. 1839 in Carroll Co., VA, d. 24 Oct. 1904 in Baxter Co., AR). (R‑1)

Fire Victim's Funeral Is Set For Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Almeda Graves, 82, who burned to death Tuesday night when her home southwest of town was destroyed by fire, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Buchanan Funeral Home chapel.
Mrs. Graves, pioneer countian was born in Taney County, Mo. and came from Arkansas to Okmulgee county in 1927. She was a member of the Church of Christ of this city.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Effie Johnson and Mrs. Maggie Mitchell, both of Rt. 1, Morris, Mrs. Delsie Scaubbert, Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Ella Mae Waldrip, Downey, Calif., and Mrs. Cora Maynard, Mountain Home, Ark.; three sons, George Graves, Rt. 3, Okmulgee, Everett Graves, who lived with his mother and Arnold Graves, Kansas City, Mo.
Malcolm Bowen will officiate and burial will be in Salt Creek Cemetery near Wilson community.
